- We contribute annually to denominational offerings of the Presbyterian Church (USA) for One Great Hour of Sharing (March-April) which is used for disaster assistance and the self-development of people worldwide, and the Joy Offering (December) for assistance for retired church professionals and racial-ethnic schools and colleges.
- We support our connectional church with an annual contribution to Grace Presbytery which in turn supports the Synod of the Sun and the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
- In October, 2008, one person from Corinth joined a group from the East Dallas Cluster of Grace Presbytery on a mission trip to Perlington, LA, to continue the hurricane recovery work of the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance Program.
- In August, 2008, we distributed 250 bottles of cold water to participants and bystanders at the “Parker Parade in Honor of Nastia Leukin.” The water was graciously donated by ViewPoint Bankers Mortgage.
- In January, 2008, we sent 147 caps, scarfs and gloves to a clothes closet in Philadelphia, PA to help combat the bitter cold winter weather.
- In December, 2007, we collected socks and boxer shorts for patients of Parkland Hospital when we learned that indigent patients often have their only clothes cut off them when they arrive at the emergency room.
- Congregation members individually contribute countless volunteer hours with local agencies such as Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Wylie Christian Community Care Center, Habitat for Humanity, Evergreen Ministries, Grace Presbytery and the Allen Philharmonic Orchestra.
- We recycle bulletins and office mail by contributing them to other church recycling bins.
- We have chosen to use glass communion cups and pottery coffee mugs rather than disposable plastic and Styrofoam cups.
- We have programmable thermostats in the sanctuary to conserve energy.
- We are always looking for new ways to contribute to the world around us.
